It's crazy to think it's already October, time flies! Please check out all the latest events we have coming up this month. IBSO Meeting Thursday October 4 Thursday October 4, 2012, at 2:20pm Room G158, we will be having our October Meeting. Some of the things we will be discussing include our next FUNdraiser at Airheads Indoor Trampoline, IB Freshman Representatives, IBPO, and any concerns or suggestions you may have currently regarding IB. Also, if you still haven't bought an IBSO shirt or picked up your preorder please attend this meeting so you can get one then. Airheads Indoor Trampoline FUNdraiser! Save the date for October 18 as we will have our Airheads Indoor Trampoline FUNdraiser! For every person going, $3 goes to IBSO, you do not have to be in IB to attend, so bring everyone's invited! Keep in mind if we have enough funds raised, we can reach our goal for a Sea World field trip. All the information is on http://www.facebook.com/events/148383025305818/?fref=ts. More details will be given soon! Other events coming up this month! Tuesday, October 2, 2012 7:00pm: Taiwanese Acapella Group performance at CCHS in the PAC. Cypress Creek students get in free, the tickets are $10 for everyone else. The group has came all the way from Taiwan to perform for us. IB requires us to also have a cultural awareness aspect, so we would appreciate if all of you could come and support! https://www.facebook.com/events/316108558486925/ Tuesday, October 2, 2012 Pt 47: ISA meeting at 2:20pm Friday, October 5, 2012: Youth Empowerment and Leadership Learning (YELL) general interest meeting (location TBD) after school. At 6:45pm in the Southchase 7 - Touchstar Cinemas there will be a YELL fundraiser movie night, bring your friends and family! http://yellconference.webs.com/ October 20: IB Senior Carwash fundraiser at Discount Auto Every Friday: Continuous fundraiser at Seprock's Snow in Hunter's Creek for the IB Seniors. Welcome Cypress Creek IB Students! We hope you've been enjoying your first few weeks back in school! Stay updated on all the latest activities in IBSO and clubs we have coming up!    IB Picnic August 18, 2012: The IB Picnic was a success, even with the rain. Some of the activities included toilet paper mummy wrapping, egg toss, and water balloon fights! We were very excited to welcome back IB students and meeting all the wonderful new freshman. It was a fantastic kick-off towards a great year! First IBSO Meeting! Tuesday September 11, 2012- we will host our very first IBSO meeting of the 2012 - 2013 year! This will be in Ms. Schinleber's roomG-158. We will discuss our ideas, fundraisers, and everything to know on IBSO. Also, please attend if you're interested in helping on the IB Homecoming Float or running for Freshman Representative. We would appreciate your attendance! Juniors IB Pinning Ceremony Class of 2014- on September 18, 2012 after school at the Cypress Creek Performing Arts Center we will be having the IB Induction Ceremony for the Junior Class.  IB Senior Carwash The seniors are having an IB carwash to raise money for senior dues and stoles on Sept. 16th from 9am-2pm at the Discount Auto on Orange near the 711 and would love if you guys could stop by, show some support, and get your cars cleaned!  IBSO Homecoming Float On September 21, 2012, we may have a homecoming float for IBSO! We need a commited and supportive group of students willing to help make the float if we want this to happen. If you are interested in designing or building beforehand, please contact Elizabeth Tran atetran135@aol.com. Airheads Fundraiser Please mark your calendars for October 18, 2012 as we will have a Cypress Creek Spirit Night at Airheads Indoor Trampoline! Funds raised will go to IBSO, more information will be posted later on in the month. IB Senior Talent Show To the IB Seniors! Do you look back at your freshman year and wish to relive it? If you want to see how much IB as a whole has matured through the years of hard work and perseverance, then look no further. We are proud to announce our IB Senior Year Talent Show on Friday,December 14th! If you are interested in performing, auditions beginNovember 6th and 7th! Contact Sean Chew for more information at seanlikesblue@gmail.com National Honor Society Hey NHS Members! Just a reminder that there will be a meeting on MondaySeptember 10th in E-116 at 2:20! There will also be meetings on the second Monday of every month. Make sure you attend every meeting otherwise we won't be able to do all the fun things we have planned for this year! -NHS Officers Upcoming events!
